WHO WE ARE

To begin with, again our names are Jillian and Kim. Both coming from the Chicagoland area, we feel we are rather cultured individuals. Both of us are fast approaching our undergraduate career at Saint Mary's University in Winona, MN and are looking forward to graduation in May 2010!

After graduation, we are packing our bags, filling one car and hitting the westward road to Los Angeles, California where we will be excited to call that home! 

In terms of interests...well, we both love to travel. In the past 2 years we've been all over the world...LITERALLY!!! From going to see the ball drop in NYC a few years ago, to serving others in Bacolod City, Philippines and walking through one of the most populated cities of Manila. We've driven through the eastern coastal areas of Australia from Sydney to Melbourne and more recently backpacked through Western Europe puddle jumping from London, where we saw the Jonas Brothers 3D Concert Premier, to Rome, Athens, Paris, and concluded back in London.

Even more recent, we spent the better part of last semester traveling the US in between studies following our most recent band interest Honor Society. This past semester is when we set our hearts on Los Angeles! In October we were able to take a quick trip out there to check out places to live and possible graduate schools to attend.

Most of all...we loved the music scene that LA had to offer! In our short time there, we were able to catch the Backstreet Boys perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live and get an autograph or two or three!

Needless to say, we have a burning desire in our hearts to be connected to the musical world!  So we pondered over this thought for some time and tried to come up with a way to combine our love for music with a way to get more involved...and thus JK Music Promotion was born! 

It is our hope that through our love for music and our eagerness to contact up and coming artists as well as those already established, that we might be able to help promote them to the rest of the world, becasue everyone deserves to hear the music and make it a part of their lives!
